Sare Silver Springs School (SSSS) is a unique institution, in a unique environment, with a unique taste of success.

A unique institution because it is the only school in Homabay County that embraces the community model in academic delivery, service learning, and community engagement.

In a unique environment because it is in a tranquil area that fosters learning, and is less than 15 kilometers away from Lake Victoria, the largest fresh water lake in the world.

Unique taste of success because it continues to surpass expectations supporting achievement to such an extent that they attain remarkable academic results in National Examinations, thus placing itself in the league of top performers in the region.

It is emerging to be a beacon of academic excellence, and may soon overtake many others in the county, and country. Its impact on matters of community awakening, and youth empowerment, leading to development of human capital for economic growth, and poverty alleviation is clearly in the horizon. I see a great future for the school. We operate with the slogan of PHD. (Prayer, Hard work, and Discipline).

Sare Silver Springs School (SSS), is a relatively new, privately initiated Primary School, that opened on January 12th, 2015 at Wimagak village in Kamenya Central, South Kanyaluo Location, Rachuonyo North Sub-County of Homabay County, Kenya.

Key highlights and features of the school include:

Working closely with the host community to open the gate to quality education that an overwhelming majority of children in the locality have missed out on since the early1960’s.
Entirely privately funded and managed.
Divine driven, quality grounded, and service-oriented.
Competitive, and low cost.
Grounded on a Service Charter that spells out the school Motto, Mission, and Core Values, with the objective of becoming one of the best performing schools in the county, and country.

Enrollment Status

SSSS has about 200 pupils (boys and girls), aged between 3 and 14 years, and has a pre-school as well as elementary grades Kindergarten to standard 8.

Teaching and Support Staff

Presently, the School has 12 trained teachers and 6 support staff. Our principal is a renowned and well qualified teacher who has a tremendous track record of success spanning a period of over 30 years.

Infrastructure

The School has several building that has the pre-school classes, Kindergarten to standard 8, administration, and storage facilities.

Land

The School is built on a 5 acre parcel of land that is tranquil and will support the growth plans for the school.
